The hourly rate depends on the number of contracted care days per week, so each family pays a rate that matches the care actually used.

Childcare benefit
The Dutch childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag) is financial support from the government for parents who use childcare. It lowers the cost of care, making it easier to combine work or study with caring for your child.
